Adam Thayer

I am a Professional Land Surveyor and partner of Dioptra LLC with over 10 years of experience in the surveying and geospatial profession. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Geomatics Technology from Idaho State University and have experience in construction staking, land planning and development, 3D scanning, aerial mapping, and boundary and topographic surveys. I have an interest in technical writing and have authored various articles for a leading surveying and geospatial magazine.

I have been an active member of ISPLS for many years and currently serve on the ISPLS Board of Directors. Since 2018, I have served as the NSPS Young Surveyors Representative for Idaho. In this role, I have focused on young surveyor engagement, mentorship, and professional development. My service to the society also has included serving as chair of the Scholarship Committee, where I have worked to support and promote educational opportunities for future surveyors. I have also served on the Education Committee and Conference Committee, contributing to continuing education efforts for our membership. This year I joined the Legislative Committee and look forward to continuing to advocate for our profession.

I am seeking the position of ISPLS Treasurer to continue serving the Society in a leadership capacity. I bring a strong sense of integrity, responsibility, attention to detail, and commitment to transparency. As Treasurer, I would work collaboratively with the Board, the Executive Director, and the general membership to ensure the Society’s financial health supports its mission, programs, and long-term goals. As a Board Member, I have a clear understanding of the bylaws and policies that govern the Society. I am passionate about ISPLS and dedicated to strengthening the profession through leadership and service.

Sean Boggs

Sean is a graduate of Idaho State University’s Geomatics Engineering Technology program and has been surveying in southeast Idaho for the last 13 years. He worked for a small local firm during his time at ISU, learning how to be a successful surveyor in the field and office. After graduation, he spent a short time working for the Bureau of Land Management out of the Twin Falls District, before returning to the private sector. Licensed in Idaho in 2021, Sean has steadily grown in the survey profession, and now leads land development projects for his current employer, supporting three offices across the state.

Sean has served on the ISPLS Standards of Practice Committee since 2022, successfully helping to implement the Standards of Practice document in 2024, and provide guidance to the public with regard to the practice of land surveying in the state of Idaho. He has also participated on the 2026 ISPLS Conference Committee, helping to plan the annual conference that provides continuing education for those in the surveying profession.

As NSPS Representative, Sean hopes to continue advocating at the national level for the surveying profession within Idaho by conveying the concerns of the ISPLS Board of Governors, building relationships with other professional surveyors in the inter-mountain West region, and understanding what the individual licensed surveyor needs to be successful.

Jeremiah B. Fielding

I started in the Profession of Land Surveying in September 1997 after coming back from living in Brazil for two years and was looking for temporary employment before heading to University of Idaho to go into Architecture.   After working with Arrow Land Surveying, Inc. for a year and a half I decided to change career paths and enrolled at Idaho State University in 1998 in their Civil Engineering Technology. After graduating in 2001, I returned to Arrow Land Surveying, Inc. until 2010 when I decided to go on my own. I started Eagle Land Surveying, LLC in January 2010 to present.

During my time in the Profession of Land Surveying, I have been the Secretary for two Presidents of the Idaho Society of Professional Land Surveyors, Vice-President, President, Past-President at the State level. At the local level I have served as Secretary, Vice Chairman, Chairman of the Southwest Section and Section Director of the Southwest Section.

If elected, I would work with Stewart Ward and continue the path that he has set forth, and I would represent Idaho at a National Level bringing our concerns and input to the other States.

Thank you.
